J’ai eu la chance d’être tirée au sort pour recevoir le composant du mois de Décembre sur le blog Art Jewelry Element.
Tous les mois, un membre de l’équipe du blog propose un composant envoyé à tous les autres et quelques personnes extérieures peuvent être tirées au sort en laissant un commentaire.
Chacun doit en faire quelque chose.
Ce mois-ci j’en fais partie.
J’ai donc reçu un élément de Rebekah Payne de Tree Wings Studio, j’en ai choisi la couleur.
Une fois arrivé, je l’ai adoré, ensuite il m’a fait penser à l’art des aborigènes australiens, avec tous ces petits points. Les couleurs et la forme en tourbillon lui donne un aspect très organique.
J’ai donc voulu faire un bracelet simple qui mette cette perle en valeur. J’ai choisi des perles en bois de rose, du cuivre, des perles de prière tibétaines et des perles de verre dans les mêmes tons pour rappeler la terre, la rondeur, la chaleur et la sérénité.

Every month a member of the team sends a handmade component to the others and some guest designers are randomly chosen to participate by leaving comments.
Then every one has to design a piece.
This month, I ‘m in it!
So I received a component by Rebekah Payne from Tree Wings Studio and I got to choose the color.
When it arrived, first I loved it, then I immediately thought of Australian Aboriginal art I had seen. All those dots, the earthy colors, the whirlwind shape make it very organic.
So I decided to make a simple bracelet to focus on the bead and those characteristics. I chose wooden beads, copper, Tibetan prayer beads, glass heath in the same colors to show earth, roundness, warmth and serenity.

You and I had similar inspiration with our beads. Love the bracelet, it is uncomplicated and suits the focal so well.

Simplicity is sometimes best—your bracelet is beautiful Karin! The smaller beads linked together are such a nice delicate contrast to the chunkiness of the speckle bead and I really love how your beaded clasp ring mimics the dots. Thank you so much for playing along!
