Lorsque j’ai enfin vu, car je l’attends, le tableau inspiration de Art Bead Scene pour le mois d’avril j’ai tout de suite su que je voulais utiliser du tissus.
Pour l’instant j’ai du mal à associer tissus et perles, c’était l’occasion d’essayer.
J’ai choisi des rubans de soie de sari recyclée dans les couleurs du tableau.
Et après?
La fermoir parfait de Mary Harding Jewelry , les couleurs, les motifs… à lui tout seul il représentait le tableau.
Ruban de soie et fermoir. Quelques perles en céramique de Gaea dans les tons verts bleus du tableau ainsi qu’une perle toujours dans les mêmes tons de Orly Fuchs Galchen.
Cette perle est grosse mais légère car vide, elle m’a permis d’équilibrer les morceaux de rubans.
J’ai également ajouté des anneaux tissés, toujours pour trouver un équilibre.
Et je l’ai laissé comme cela.
Je ne suis pas complètement satisfaite.
Je retrouve le tableau, mais pas d’équilibre.

When I finally saw, because I’m waiting for it, the April inspiration painting for the Art Bead Scene Challenge, I immediately knew I wanted to use some kind of fabric.
I have a hard time associating beads and fabric, this was the perfect occasion to try.
I chose some recycled sari silk ribbon in the colors of the painting.
What next?
The perfect clasp from Mary Harding Jewelry, the colors, the motifs… everything in it reminded me of the painting.
Silk ribbon and clasp. Some ceramic beads by Gaea in the blue green tones of the painting and another bead by Orly Fuchs Galchen, still in the same colors.
That last bead is big, but hollow so light and I used it to balance the ribbons.
I also added some woven rings, again to find some kind of balance.
And I stopped adding and taking away.
I’m not really satisfied.
I can see the painting but I couldn’t find balance.
